St Paul's Episcopal Church - Introduction

The Episcopal Church is unique in that it represents a middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism. Our Sunday service includes Scripture readings, psalms, hymns and Holy Communion. The Episcopal Church has an “open” Communion—all are welcome at this table. Special Services at St. Paul’s Baptisms and Confirmation – Normally four times a year Blessing of the Backpacks – September Blessing of the Animals-October Lighting of the Advent Candles-November-December Visitation of St. Nicholas- December Christmas Eve—5 pm-targeted for children and 8 pm Ash Wednesday Holy Week beginning with Palm Sunday, including Maundy Thursday and Good Friday- 5 pm for children & 7 pm adults Easter Vigil to be scheduled Easter Summer worship—less formal
